❖ONE VEHICLE, ONE TEAM.
❖Teams may consist of as
many people that you can safely fit in your car with everyone having a
seatbelt.
❖Every team will need to
have an “official” team name and song that will be given when signing up for
the
event.
❖ EACH TEAM WILL NEED TO
HAVE A TEAM CAPTAIN. The team Captain will be responsible for the following:
1) Uploading each picture/video to the website.
2) Navigating and coordinating the route to ensure they
visit as many spots as possible.
❖You will need to create
a team sign on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper or larger.
The sign needs to have the following:
*Team Name
*Date of the Event
Your sign needs to be in every picture your group
takes/submits as part of the competition. This is required
for the task to be considered complete.
❖BRING YOUR PHONES AND
YOUR PORTABLE CHARGERS (Video and Photo Capability is a must)
❖ If you are part of a
team that consists of only 1 or 2 team members, improvise when it comes to
taking
necessary photos or videos. As long as you were at the
destination and tried to take the required
Photo/Video, you will receive the points.
❖Your team must always
stay together. You may not split up to “divide” tasks.
❖This contest requires
the entire team to be involved. Minimally half of the team along with your team
sign
must be in every picture being submitted (unless otherwise
stated in the location clue). Please ensure
different team faces show up in the photos taken as you work
through this event. (Yes, even the camera-shy
teammates!)
❖ Complete as many as
Tasks/Challenges on the list as possible. Each task is worth 10 points unless otherwise
stated in the clue.
❖ The 3 teams with the
highest point totals will be contacted at the conclusion of the hunt.
❖In the event of a tie,
my parents (who live in Newmarket and will not know anyone) will look through
the
pictures/videos. They will choose the team that they felt
showed the most team spirit, family fun and
community pride.
❖There is no specific
order you are required to follow to complete the list of tasks. Your team
captain charts
the course for your team. You may take on the tasks in any
order you choose.
❖You are more than
welcome to use Google to help you with the scavenger hunt. If you have any
issues, or
get lost, please message me through FB. I will stay very
attentive to messages. Please have some patience as I
work to respond as quickly as I can.
❖If you need help with an
address for a clue, we can help BUT keep in mind for every clue that you need
help
with, we will deduct 5 points from your total at the end.
(Yes, help has a price in this case!)
❖The list of destinations
was created via google, through suggestions from you our community members, and
from friends that have done this before. So please, if the
list sends you to something that may no longer exist
or is completely inaccessible message me right away and let
me know so that I can update everyone else.
❖ HAVE FUN WITH EACH

❖Most importantly have

COVID-

spots are not responsible for incidents, tickets, accidents, or injuries that
occur
during the scavenger hunt. Please do not go on private
property. You are participating in this event at your
own risk. Please have fun but also be careful and obey the
rules of the road.
